> Young Adult Group

This group consists of young people between the ages of 18 and 35. They get together to enjoy such things as amusement parks, game nights, dinner and movies, etc. They also attend Young Adult activities sponsored by the Santa Barbara District and California-Pacific Annual Conference.

> Genesis

This group of families with children from elementary to college age meets monthly for social activities. Some events are with children, and some are adults only.

> Merry Friends

This group of seniors meets monthly for lunch and occasionally for other social events. Watch for upcoming events.

> Tables of Eight

The Tables of Eight groups are organized every few months with sign-up’s on the patio. Any eight adults can form a group. The host prepares the main dish while the other members of the group prepare the other parts of the meal. The host is rotated each month. Some groups elect to eat at different restaurants each month.

> Adult & Family Ministries Commission

This commission plans such things as theater dates, dinners, museum visits, and Educational Ministries. They also plan picnics in the park, softball games, fall bowling league, the Church family picnic in June, and so much more. They meet once a month and fellowship before their meetings.

> Women’s Book Club

Meets 3rd Wednesday a month at 7:00 P.M. in the Teacher’s Lounge to discuss the book of the month.

> Walking Group

Meets Saturday’s at 10:00 A.M. at the flag poll in Central Park for a healthy walk around the park

> Coffee Chats with Rev. Rachel

Thursday’s, 5 – 8:00 P.M. at Starbuck’s in the Lowe’s Center on Bouquet Canyon Rd.

> Mom ‘N Me

Friday’s 10 – 11:30 A.M. in the nursery. For information call Amy Dell at 250-9363

> OUTREACH

Laubach Literacy Classes, Girl Scouts & Cub Scouts, Alanon, Alcoholics Anonymous and Overeaters Anonymous groups and the Blanket Brigade
