>About Rev. Rachel Allen

Rev. Rachel Allen—Associate Pastor of Youth, Young Adults, and Outreach. 

After spending the first thirteen years of her life in eastern states, Rachel came to the San Diego area with her family.  Her parents are still in Encinitas and active in the church where Rachel started her spiritual journey that led her to ministry. 

Rachel graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins where she received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, a minor in Sociology, and a certification in African American Studies.  After serving four years as Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries in Mission Viejo, she enrolled at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado.  Rachel received her Master of Divinity in June 2006 and was commissioned as a Probationary Elder in June 2007.
