Hybrid Worship

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

During the COVID pandemic, our online worship has allowed us to reach people that would have never walked into our church doors because of distance or time or for other personal reasons. Now the sanctuary is open to in-person and online at 9:30am and we do not have to leave anyone out.

We must continue our online presence as we transition into a truly hybrid church, and continue to reach out to the great potential of seekers. In order to maintain the quality of our video worship while also attending to our “in house” congregation, we need people to help in both arenas.

We don’t want you to sign up for every Sunday! With enough people, helping out once a month would be enough. But we do need your help.

Please contact Jerry Rhodes at 661-803-0869 if you have any questions or to volunteer!

Thank you.

USHERS

We have always had ushers, but their job may be more demanding as we adhere to current Covid guidelines. We would like to have 4 ushers each Sunday.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

The Hospitality Committee will still greet people, but at a safe distance. No hugs! And serving refreshments will require more help due to restrictions.

LIVE STREAM TEAM - Audio & Video

We still need our sound techs and video projectionists, but now they will need to serve our internet viewers as well. sometimes with special content. We would like at least 2 more volunteers. This is not ‘rocket science’. Be not afraid! We will train you!

LIVE STREAM TEAM - Camera Operators

In addition to expanding our ’normal’ helpers we need a few people to operate the new equipment for our live streaming of the Worship Service. Join the “Stream Team”!

We need someone to operate the cameras. If you like video games, this is the place for you! Using a joystick, you can remotely control the Pan, Tilt, Zoom of our PTZ cameras. As camera operator, you control what our online audience sees!

VIDEO SWITCHER

We need someone to operate the Video Switcher. You view the input of the video cameras, the projection content and the projection content imposed over video. You choose which of these to ‘broadcast’, when, and for how long! Make Spieiberg jealous!
